Why We Ask Stupid Questions?

Ever wondered why we ask such stupid questions? Then after we have asked them we feel like the most stupid and blondest person ever.. While everyone else is having hysterics at what we asked were still trying to think why we asked it?
I will tell you why you asked it? because you were not concentrating and gave ammunition to your two worst enemies Mr Irony and Mr Sarcasm. Now they were playing a game of polka in your head and whilst they were having a rest they saw an opportunity and could not resist.
Well any ways I believe in Common Sense, and try to refrain from asking silly questions, however I usually do ask them and end up with silly answers from people. But today using my common sense I am going to answer a couple of silly questions that I got asked a few days a go.
Person 1- Please help I have got an addiction to Facebook, what can I do?
Answer - Delete your account, get rid of your computer and go out and make some friends the good old fashioned way.
Person 2 - Please help I cant cope because my friends keep texting me and I am a text addict, what can I do?
Answer - Get rid of your phone, and move in with your friends........
Do you see what I mean? I know these are only two of them but I get asked all the time by people and after have stopped laughing, I give them silly answers to go with it.. I mean I bet it happens to you too? You know your at work or on the phone and someone asks you if you can help them with a problem, and foolishly they ask you the most stupid of questions ever thought.
I remember working in the shoe shop here in England and I am telling you now, if you have never worked with the public, you don't know what your missing.. Because it can be so funny when they come and ask you silly questions at work... I mean take this scenario..
Shop Assistant - Good morning sir, may I help you?
Customer - Yes could you tell me where the nearest bank is?
Now I know that does not sound funny but when your the only shop on a street of banks its not exactly hard work is it? Believe me that did happen, I can still remember it, and having hysterics the customer laughed too because he did not mean to ask such a silly question but its still made me laugh even after the gentleman had left and all day to be honest. Every time I saw the bank I was laughing my head off.
I bet your all sitting back now remembering silly questions you got asked it could be at work, or your partner/husband/wife etc or it could have been your kids who asked it, and I bet there is one that sticks out in your mind too.. Keep hold of them because your gonna get asked a load more at some point, Just do what I do give them a silly answer to go with it......

Am always doing it, but its always fun to admit it too makes it even funnier :)
It's to do with embarrassment and nervousness and lack of time sometimes. The neural pathways get screwed and we blubber - all of us!
If you dye your hair blonde does that count also? Sorry - that's blondist!

I died my hair blonde last year and it fell out that was hilarious I ended up having to wear a bandanna for ages until it grew back :)

I don't understand this. Its not entertaining at all. Why? We all know why we ask dumb questions!!!! Only dumb people ask dumb questions. Like most of you. If you ask me, I think you should delete this whole website. I hate it.

I worked in a bookstore for a while, and was once asked for "the new Jane Austen" book. Had to explain that Jane Austen could have nothing new as she died quite some time ago. But I do ask dumb questions all the time. I like to claim that while I can be an exception to the blonde stereotype, the blonde seeps into my head every now and again. Anyway, great question to ask!
